The Oxford Academy Vision and Values
At The Oxford Academy, the vision for our school is ‘Enabling All To Flourish.’
We live our vision in our daily actions, through our commitments: ‘Commitment to Others, Commitment to Learning.’ Every single person in our school shapes it. Our daily routines and educational practice are rooted in our three school values: Courage, Curiosity and Compassion.
We believe in positive relationships and promote the principle of being a purposeful and productive member of the community in our work.We value all in our school community, and believe that by being strong and courageous and doing the work, we can all flourish collectively and individually. Our vision of enabling all students to flourish encapsulates academic excellence as well as spiritual, social and personal development so students can thrive once they leave us.
Our culture will make a profound and positive difference to everyone at our school, enabling all to flourish. We meet the needs of all - whatever it takes.
Chronicles 28:20 Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for God is with you.
As leaders, staff and students in The Oxford Academy, we commit to upholding our school values of courage, compassion and curiosity in all that we do through the following commitments:
